A path with purpose

Build vocabulary with a clear Quran goal.

Kalima turns individual words into a focused journey through guided Quran understanding, contextual meaning, and reliable recall.

01

Choose a meaningful Quran goal

Work through Al-Fatihah one ayah at a time or build recognition across the last ten surahs, with a finite path you can complete.

02

Study the current ayah word by word

Choose a quick, steady, or deep session. Kalima balances earlier reviews with the vocabulary in your current guided lesson.

03

Prove recall in Quran context

Strengthen meaning with contextual checkpoints, focused quizzes, and the word-by-word Quran reader.

One connected journey

From focused word study into Quran context.

Follow a guided study path in the app, practice on the optional lock screen, and connect every word back to the Quran.

Kalima for Android

Begin your path into Quranic Arabic.

Kalima is in a closed beta on Google Play. Email me and I will add you to the tester list. It is free, and there is no waiting list.

Joining the closed beta

Three steps to get Kalima on your phone.

Google Play shows a closed beta only to testers added by email address. Send me the address your Google account uses and I will take care of the rest.

  1. 01

    Email me your Google address

Use the button above. Tell me which email address your Google Play account uses, because that is the one Play checks.

  2. 02

    Accept the tester invitation

I add you to the tester list and send back the opt-in link. Opening it once records that you accepted.

  3. 03

    Install from Google Play

Kalima then appears as an ordinary Play Store install, and updates arrive automatically like any other app.

Already installed an older Kalima from an APK? Export any progress you want to keep before you install the Play version. Android treats a differently signed build as a separate app, so the old data does not carry over.
